How Chimera detects patterns

Every 10 minutes, the scanner analyzes the last 50 price candles and computes 4 metrics:

1. Volatility (standard deviation of returns) — is the market trembling?
2. Momentum (ratio of bullish candles / total) — who's in control, buyers or sellers?
3. Average return over the last 5 and 10 periods — accelerating or slowing down?
4. Structure — are recent candles calmer or more chaotic than previous ones?

Each combination of these metrics activates one or more named patterns. At any given moment, 3 to 6 patterns are active simultaneously.

The 17 named patterns

Chimera uses evocative names so even a non-technical user immediately understands what the market is doing:

Beyond these 17 named patterns, Chimera also detects 1,204 mined patterns (prefix RMINED_) discovered automatically through statistical analysis. These are micro-structures the human eye would never spot.

The complete matrix crosses 1,196 strategies x 1,221 patterns = nearly 1.5 million combinations tested. For every situation, Chimera knows which strategy survives best.

Sequences: when one pattern follows another

Chimera doesn't stop at isolated patterns. It also detects 795 double sequences: when pattern A is followed by pattern B, what happens?

For example: SERPENT_COIL → BLITZ_RALLY is a frequent sequence. When price compresses for a long time (Serpent Coil) then explodes (Blitz Rally), momentum strategies like CUDA Evolved perform best.
