About Sentiment Fusion

Sentiment Fusion is a multi-source sentiment analysis strategy that aggregates emotional market signals from Twitter/X, Reddit, Google Trends, Fear & Greed Index and funding rate data to predict crypto price movements. When sentiment is extremely negative (extreme fear), the strategy buys. When euphoria peaks, it sells. This approach exploits the emotional cycle of crypto investors — fear → accumulation → hope → euphoria → panic.

How it works

Aggregates a composite sentiment score: Fear & Greed Index (0-100), long/short ratio on futures, sentiment-weighted Twitter/Reddit mentions, Google Trends for crypto terms. Buy signal when composite score < 15 (extreme fear). Sell signal when > 85 (extreme greed).

Strengths

Captures market emotional extremes (best entry/exit points). Contrarian approach validated by behavioral psychology. Rare but high-quality signals. Works on all crypto assets.

Weaknesses

Sentiment extremes can persist for a long time (market can stay irrational). Infrequent signals (a few per quarter). Noisy sentiment data difficult to quantify. Sentiment doesn't always have reliable predictive power.
