Momentum Surfer Futures is the leveraged adaptation of the Momentum Surfer strategy for the Futures arena. It amplifies gains on crypto momentum waves using moderate leverage (3-5x) on perpetual contracts. The strategy only surfs the clearest and strongest momentum waves — those confirmed by high ADX, increasing volume and price acceleration — then uses an aggressive trailing stop to protect gains while letting profits run.
High-conviction filter: ADX > 30, increasing volume over 3 consecutive periods, positive price acceleration. When all 3 filters pass, opens a 3-5x futures position in the momentum direction. Dynamic trailing stop: starts at 3%, tightens to 1.5% when profit exceeds 10%. Automatic exit when acceleration turns negative. Position progressively reduced if momentum decelerates.
