The generator takes your 4 choices (personality, risk, indicators, style) and assembles a prompt that calls Claude. Claude writes the full strategy logic — entry rules, exit rules, position sizing, stop-loss — in the arena's native format.
The code is then immediately backtested on real BTC historical data. The engine runs the same loop the Monte Carlo backtester uses: no look-ahead bias, realistic slippage, tick-by-tick execution. Your bot's PnL is compared to Buy & Hold BTC and to the top 5 strategies on the live leaderboard.
Finally, the generated strategy is optionally filtered through Invictus — which blocks the strategy if it matches a known "death pattern" from 2,000+ captured loss contexts. That's why some generated bots come back flagged "Invictus veto" rather than "live on the leaderboard".
