What Is the Crypto Fear Index?

The crypto Fear Index measures market sentiment. It compresses several signals into a score from 0 to 100:

• 0 to 20: extreme fear
• 21 to 40: fear
• 41 to 60: neutral
• 61 to 80: greed
• 81 to 100: extreme greed

It is not a price prediction. It is a sentiment thermometer.

Why it is useful in trading

Markets often exaggerate emotion. During panic, many sellers have already sold. During euphoria, many buyers are already exposed.
